Dan Ebner was appointed Vice-Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Standing Committee on Professional Conduct for 2019-2020.

The Standing Committee reviews the Illinois Rules of Professional Conducts to assure that its provisions adequately address matters of professional conduct and, when deemed necessary, to recommend proposed amendments to the Rules. The Standing Committee also writes ISBA Ethics Opinions expressing the ISBA’s interpretation of the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct and other relevant materials in response to specific hypothesized fact situations.
