Ray Prather has been elected to serve in several leadership capacities by the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law for the 2019-2020 term.

As the Editor for eReport Articles on Trust and Estates, he will be responsible for the full development of articles and books. Ray will also serve on the Special Committee on ABA Relations to provide administrative and operative structures to the section. This role is typically reserved for more senior members and it is a great honor to be appointed. Finally, as a Liaison for the ABA Commission on Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity, he will act on behalf of the organization to advocate for and provide valuable information to the LGBTQ community at large.

Founded in 1878, the ABA supports over 400,000 members and strives to provide practical resources to legal professionals, advancing the rule of law across the United States and abroad.

A partner at Prather Ebner LLP, Ray focuses his practice on estate planning, advising tax-exempt organizations and consulting on tax issues in trust and estate litigation.
