Gabriel V. Evelyn, Paralegal at Prather Ebner, authored an article regarding Juneteenth’s importance and its relationship to Black American joy and perseverance. He published this article, titled Juneteenth & Black Jubilation: Conjuring Freedom, via the Chicago Paralegal Association’s online newsletter.

Gabriel is a Founding Member of the Chicago Paralegal Association (CPA). He serves on their Board as the Secretary & Director of Operations, Pro Bono Coordinator, and Director-at-Large. Gabriel obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from DePaul University and his Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Wilbur Wright College’s ABA approved Paralegal Studies program.
