Attorney Ray Prather has become a board member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council (CEPC). A multi-disciplinary group, CEPC supports the team concept of estate and wealth planning. It was founded in 1938 and serves as one of the oldest and largest such estate planning councils in the country with more than 700 members. CEPC’s membership includes attorneys, accountants, trust officers, wealth managers and advisors, financial planners, insurance agents, appraisers, planning giving specialists, and other allied professionals. CEPC presents various events throughout the year on issues related to estate and wealth planning.
A partner at Prather Ebner Wilson LLP, Ray advises clients on a wide array of issues related to administering and resolving challenges to estate plans. He represents individual and professional trustees, beneficiaries of trusts and estates, and tax-exempt organizations.
