Prather Ebner Wilson is pleased to announce Associate Attorney Emma Connor’s membership in the 2025-27 class of ACTEC Foundation Dennis I. Belcher Young Leaders!

This program follows Emma’s successful completion of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section (RPTE) Fellows program. The Belcher Young Leaders program offers an opportunity for ongoing education beyond Emma’s fellowship.

“I am honored to be selected for the Dennis I. Belcher Young Leaders program,” Emma says. “I look forward to continuing my involvement in leadership with the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and am grateful for the support of The ACTEC Foundation in advancing scholarship and mentorship in our profession.”

During her time in the RPTE Fellows program, Emma served on the alternative dispute resolution committee, presenting a skills training session on “Planning for Probate Contests” — her first CLE. In February, she spoke on the topic of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Aftermath of Students for Fair Admissions, Inc.” at the first-ever ABA RPTE Virtual CLE Conference.

Emma joined Prather Ebner Wilson as an associate attorney in April 2023. Her passion for justice was shaped during her time working with nonprofit organizations focused on expanding youth literacy, immigrant and refugee resettlement, and gun safety legislation.

Emma is a member of the Young Professionals Board of Illinois Legal Aid Online, and volunteers with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
